{body positive boudoir} You don’t have to smile to be sexy

You don’t have to smile to be sexy. Or be sultry.

No, seriously.

Your natural expressions are what’s sexy. Some people are serious. Some people are giggly. Some people are both, or neither. And whichever comes naturally to you, without feeling like you’re “performing” sexiness, will be the perfect expression for you.

At her body positive boudoir session, Ms. A found that her naturally sexy expression is pretty fierce. We captured a variety of expressions during her session, of course, but as she got more comfortable in front of the camera it became clear that a direct gaze and a little bit of attitude are Ms. A’s sweet spot.

Finding that sweet spot is so important for each of us. Ms. A’s sweet spot is fierce; my own is a big, buoyant smile. I believe that this applies to not only swimsuits, but lingerie — and anything else you want to put on your beautiful bod:

“How To Get a Sexy Swimsuit Body In Less Than 5 Minutes:

0:01: retrieve preferred swimsuit

0:02: put on said swimsuit

0:03: look in mirror

0:04: exclaim “HOT DAMN I am one sexy bitch!”

Optional: strut like you just don’t care.”

And you know what? Sometimes a LOT of attitude is sexy, too.

xoxo,

Lindley
